What do you do?

We are a Canadian charitable organization founded in 2003. We act like a product design studio. Our mission is to produce ideas that do good. We do this for clients, friends and for ourselves.

How do you structure your work?

We follow a four stage research process each time we begin working with a new partner. Every stage provides us with different opportunities to learn and refine our ideas, helping us build programs and create content that matter.

Who do you work with?

We generally work with people with whom we have a longstanding relationship. We want to support projects that help people see themselves differently and honor who they are becoming, not necessarily who they are today.

What criteria do you use to select projects and partners?

Our criteria is completely subjective, based on a combination of instinct, relationship and hard work. We often test relationships by working on small projects before committing to fully pursuing a question together. We are not a granting body nor an agency and we have the freedom to support ideas, people and projects that don’t necessarily need to have a quantitative return.

How are you funded?

Depending on the project, we draw on funding from a range of sources including: foundations, client work, partners, governments, and individual donors. We would like to give thanks to the following foundations who were early supporters of DreamNow’s work: Laidlaw Foundation, Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation, and the Ontario Trillium Foundation

Do you have open jobs/volunteer opportunities?
